Finding the Hope in Calgary

In spring nearly 2,000 homes in Calgary received the message of hope in Christ!

Parkdale Grace Fellowship, a small congregation of Latino/Caucasion mix felt God’s call to reconnect with their neighbourhood. The church and EHC developed a plan.

Finding the Hope packets were mailed, volunteers distributed door  hangers home by home before and after the Finding the Hope mailing. Follow-up postcards for a free Stampede BBQ lunch in June went to every home that had been mailed.

Brenda J., the local coordinator for the outreach, says:

“The faith family was excited about working together for this evening, sensing God at work in their hearts
and in the community. About 60 people came from the area & beyond… The pastor was able to pray with a couple of men who were going through marital problems and health issues. …We continue to pray that the booklets will be read over and over again, and that God will continue to work in their hearts and in ours as a faith family. To God be the glory!”
