Current Prayer Needs

Uncategorized — February 27, 2018

We are grateful for the opportunity to labour with a number of congregations to bring the Finding the Hope message to people in 17 communities leading up to Easter – the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Sixteen of these communities are in the province of Québec and one is in Ontario, near the Québec border. Each one needs an outpouring of the Lord’s grace. Here is a complete list of the communities involved in this outreach and some suggestions for prayer.

Ontario

  • Hawkesbury

Québec

  • Verdun
  • Lachute
  • Wentworth
  • Wentworth North
  • Brownsburg
  • Dalesville
  • St-Colomban
  • St-Philippe
  • St-Canut
  • Saint-André-d’Argenteuil
  • Valleyfield
  • Grenville
  • Rigaud
  • Châteauguay
  • Mercier
  • Franklin

Suggestions for prayer

  • That the Lord would use the Finding the Hope outreach and message to turn many hearts
    to Jesus.
  • That the Lord would make a way for Christians to be able to engage meaningfully and naturally with others about spiritual matters, particularly about the uniqueness of the Gospel.
  • That the Lord would protect participating churches and grant them a spirit of wisdom, counsel and discernment as they go about making Him known.
  • That the Lord would anoint pastors to present the Gospel of salvation and hope to people in their communities; that He will protect them and their families as they lead the church.
  • That the Lord will open hearts to the message of the Gospel.
  • That the Lord will deliver people from the enemy’s ensnarement.
  • That the Lord will send a powerful spiritual awakening to the communities listed above.
